It’s DEBATE season – and here’s the latest information!

Time Warner Cable will replay their one-hour debate between the candidates Thursday night Oct. 19 at 7pm on Time Warner Cable Channel 22 (where available) in Yates, Steuben and Schuyler Counties.

Incumbent Republican John "Randy" Kuhl and Democratic challenger Eric Massa squared-off in R News studios in Rochester Monday night. R News anchor Jim Aroune served as moderator in the debate which featured the candidates' stances on more than a dozen topics presented by Aroune. Both Massa and Kuhl had an opportunity to direct one question to each other as well. This was the fifth and final debate between the pair prior to the November 7 general election.

Note: Only one event is scheduled so far for the northern (Monroe County) end of the 29th district, although we know of several organizations that have possible plans in the works, with no formal invitations extended yet. Keep checking this page for the latest!
